Virtual 5K Run, Walk or Roll Challenge
Monday, January 23-28, 2023
The first 100 participants to register AND report that they have completed the challenge will get $10 added to their Cougar Cash account.
There are many ways you can participate. You can run on a treadmill, walk around your neighborhood, or roll through a park at a safe distance from others, or any other form of exercise that makes sense for you! The most important part is that you do something. Alternative activities can be anything that will be challenging for you and will take about an hour to complete (swimming, aqua jogging, weight training, anything cardio, stationary bike, rowing machine, etc.) Let us know what you propose doing if running, walking or rolling are not an option for you by completing the registration form atVirtual 5k Run, Walk, or Roll Registration. PEN Talks: Untold Stories Forum
Thursday, January 26th
7:00-8:00 pm Varsity Theatre (WSC)
We all have unique experiences that shape who we are and how we see the world. Whether those be from birth, from our families, or from society. With those diverse experiences, we can learn from one another and come to understand people who are different. The purpose of PEN Talks is to provide an opportunity for students to share their perspectives and stories with fellow students. It also gives other students the chance to learn more about people who are not the same as them. They are held as a panel of students who are asked questions that are screened beforehand in front of a live audience. It is a moment to come together, to learn from one another, and become more unified as a student body and children of God.
